Price Cb #113 as restored at the Ferrymead Railway of the Canterbury Railway Society. This engine is steamed occasionally, it has a rather heavy appetite for fuel.

CB #117 was originally supplied to the Auckland City Council for use on dam building, then went off to Hayward Timber Co.
at Waimiha. From there it went to Ellis & Burnand Ltd. at Manunui in 1945 where it ran until 1962. The photo was taken at Manunui. Eventually it
has resided at The Bush Tramway Club at Rotowharo where some restoration work has been performed.

The Cba was the ultimate development of the Cb model. It was fitted with a Belpaire firebox and bogies that were copied from the Heisler. It stll featured the vertical twin-cylinder marine type engine mounted within the cab and driving via a two-speed gear train.
