The Price 'V' was built for and delivered to Ogilvie & Co.
at Gladstone, Westland after Olgilvies asked Price to come up with a copy of the Heisler.
The Price type 'V', #148, in operation after restoration at the
Canterbury Steam Preservation Society's bush tramway on McLean's Island. It is towing a restored
railcar that was used by Ogilvie & Co. on their Gladstone tramway in Westland. (D.M. Cole)
Another shot of the Type 'V' at McLean's Island. This lokey has twin cylinders
in a vee formation placed across the frame in front of the firebox in the same manner as the Heisler.
The trucks also are clearly copies of the Heisler. (D.M. Cole)
