UP 2579 leads the UP-KCCX Acid train around the wye at McCammon JCT.
They make a crew change before heading to Soda Springs.
Due to a storage problem some time back, I need to re-scan all photos to this section. I have started using
a new format on the pages and the The Cache Valley Branch page is under construction.
Some photos are being removed but will still be in the archives of the page, just look for the Camera Icon
at the bottom of the page.
The Ogden Subdivision is run by Track Warrant. Radio frequencies
used on the Ogden Subdivision &
Branches they have been jumping around a bit over the past few years. When I first came to this area,
they were on channel 20 [160.4100], then they changed to 24 [160.4700]. Now I hear them on 25 [160.4850]
and sometimes on 27 [160.5150]. I got a 100 channel scanner, so I just scan all channel 7 to 97 railroad
channels most of the time. You can find them listed here:
North American Railroad Frequencies.
