This is actually the second unit to carry the number 4016. It was outshopped by Angus March 14, 1966 following a rebuild using the carbody of 4014 already traded-in Feb. 14/66 to MLW for 4249 a new C-424 as were 50 others. The reason was RS-10 8557 had extensive fire damage Jan. 28/66. Various components from 8557 and new parts were utilized. 8557 was scrapped.
