Holt Timber Co. the Canadian division of Holt Lumber Company, of Oconto, Wisconsin, acquired this three truck Shay about 1917. Lima #2492 was built in June 1912 for Cleveland, Sarnia Sawmills Co. It was later used by Holt's logging contractor Sever-Anderson at Iron River Mi. and afterwards, on Holt's own logging railway at Tipler Wis. It's last recorded move was in March 1931 to Flanders Spur, Wis. By that time, it still carried the road number 17, assigned by the original owner.
