This peculiar looking unit is an SW1200RS with hood and some components (main generator, cooling fans, t.m. blowers)
from a GP9. Only 8 units were remanufactured by CN before the program was cancelled after being determined not to be cost effective. 7301 ex 1292 and 4490 out-shopped 3/1986, renumbered 7101 12/1986. All retired 2/2000 and sold to CANAC. .Ottawa July 27,1986 Bruce Curry
