Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus Trains
For a number of years now, the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey has brought their circus to Moline over the Labor Day weekend. The RBBB circus moves via the rails and
has always come in on the BNSF on the Tuesday night before the weekend full of shows and pack up to leave town following the last show on Labor Day Monday. Unfortunately, their departure is usually in
the middle of the night. While in town, the train is split in two for storage. The four animal cars are parked in the Moline Team Track, between 23rd St and I-74, while the rest of the train is parked
along the north side of the IAIS yard in Rock Island, along the old BN Main. The RBBB circus has two different trains touring the country and they alternate between the Red and Blue Units each year to Moline.
