Conrail E8-A # 4020
Built in 1951 by EMD for the
Pennsylvania Railroad, PRR #5809. (Penn Central #4309) Went to Amtrak in 1974, Amtrak #496. In 1976, Amtrak removed the steam
generators and installed head-end power sets. Conrail purchased the
locomotive in 1984 and renumbered it CR #4020.

Built in 1952 by EMD for the Pennsylvania Railroad, PRR #5711. (Penn Central #4311) Amtrak #317. Amtrak removed the
steam generators and installed head-end power sets. Conrail purchased the locomotive in 1984 .
