N&W - ALCOS
 
Alco T-6 27 wore the paint scheme with "N&W" initials on the hood.
 
T-6 31 had "Norfolk & Western" spelled out on the side of the hood.
 
Former N&W C425 was on her way to scrap when caught at Shippensburg on the Lurgan line.
 
N&W 1013  was still on the Roster in 1980 as N&W's only C425.  This  high nose unit was still in the blue paint scheme at Roanoke in 1982
 
N&W 418 was the only C-420 on the roster in 1980 caught here at Roanoke
 
C-630 1136 rests in the engine terminal at Roanoke, VA
 
 
N&W 1135 and her sister C-630's spent the ends of their careers as hump engines coupled to slugs made from former FM trainmasters
