Western Maryland SD-40s Class DS-30, 31, 32
Red, White & Black Paint

Western Maryland purchased 12 SD-40s in three orders: 7470-7474 were delivered in black & gold paint in August 1966 as class DS-30, 7495-7596 were delivered in black & gold paint in November 1968 as class DS-31, 7445-7449 were delivered in red, white & black paint in June 1969 as class DS-32. These engines all were all later renumbered by Chessie with the 74xx being changed to 75xx.
