Dubs 3529/1897 worksplate was fitted to LSWR 700 class loco number 706, which became 317 in June 1898 and 30317 following nationalisation of the main British railway companies in 1948. Withdrawn July 1961.

In 1903 Dubs & Co, Neilson Reid & Co and Sharp Stewart & Co Ltd amalgamated to form the North British Locomotive Company.
