Photo Rail
Welcome to the Photo Rail Website. This website has come about through the combination of two of my interests - railways and photography. The aim of the website is to share some of my better photographs on the internet for aficionados of classic traction such as the EE type3 or Brush 4 through to the modern GM's.
Most of my photographic collection concentrates on the late 1990's through to the present day. The sole reason for this is because I just wasn't around for the halcyon years of the 70's and 80's and anyway the livery variations of the past decade make the present and recent past the most visually interesting for the photographer.
The website is split depending on type of traction and then class by class, most classes are represented and there are many more photos to upload so you should find what your looking for! Some of my better work and photo stories of visits and trips out and about to all four corners of the country can be found in the Photo Gallery.
This website may not be the biggest or the best but hopefully you will judge that for yourselves.
