George Mehringer was born about 1847. He was 25 when he immigrated to the U.S. from Germany in 1872.
He married one Margareta, b. 1845, around the time of immigration. (In 1910, they had
been married 37 years, and lived in Sharpsburg, PA) They had five children, three of
which were living in 1910, and only one, John George, was living at home.
John George Mehringer was born in 1882. He was on the pennant winning team of the
Concordia Base Ball League in 1911. He married Eleanora Johanna Imhof, daugher of Valentine and
Louisa Lavina Boartz Imhof. He died in 1924.

George Valentine Mehringer was born in Pittsburgh, PA on Feb. 18, 1920.
He married Anna Mae Scheuring in 1948. They had a daughter,
Janice Mae. He died of a heart attack in December, 1973.
Janice Mae Mehringer was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in February 1951. She married Robert Glenn McKeever. They have had two children, Robert
Glenn, II and Kimberly Dawn. They live in Alexandria, Virginia.
Anna Mae Scheuring was born in Millvale Borough, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in May, 1923. She
was the daughter of Anton Scheuring and Mary Huwer. She married George Valentine
Mehringer in 1948. They had a daughter, Janice Mae. She lived in Pittsburgh until 1991, when
she came to Alexandria, Virginia.
Anton Scheuring was born in Germany in 1875. He was the son of ? ? and Ursula ?. He married
Mary Huwer. They had many children: Elenor, Loretta, Marcella, Albert, Marie (b. 1918),
William, (b. 1920) and Anna Mae (b. 1923)
