This design was modified.
These turnouts were deleted from the final plans.
This line was changed to go out straight along the wall, which is on the left side of this photo.  It extends to a fiddle yard and programming track.
This section is a lift up bridge with the hinges on the side closest to the helix.
This line starts to gain elevation at this point and will go over the top of the lower track from which it diverges and out to the fiddle yard.
Like it states in the photo,
Mainline, lower level.

Upper Level
This spur extends nearly to lower left of the layout picture.
This turnout does not exist.
This is also a lift out bridge.

The height between levels we used was the width of a 2X4 on top of the tracks on top of the road bed.  This does allow room for the aluminum bar used to hold the plywood subroadbed.  Getting the spacing between the rail lines was more difficult than thought, as on straight sections, 2" on centerline is perfect.  But on these curved tracks, this spacing is insufficient.  More space is needed and even more space, with the longer cars!
