Drop Bottom Gondola #908372

Display #8 UP 908372 was built in 1950 and was used to carry commodities such as coal and rock.  Doors on the bottom of the car drop to allow unloading.  The car was later converted to carry panels of track and assigned to the Council Bluffs Iowa wreck train.  Retired by the UP in 2000, #908372 was donated to the BCRHS by Daniel Quiat in 2001.
