Railroad Industry SIG
The primary goals of the Railroad Industry Special Interest Group (RRISIG) are:
- To develop an understand of the history and operations of industries served by the railroads
- To share such information among the membership for modeling purposes
RRISIG publishes a quarterly newsletter, Lineside, to provide articles on industry- related topics and to keep our members informed about planned SIG events.

The Railroad Industry Special Interest Group (RRISIG) is an independent, non-profit group focused on industrial railroading, affliated with the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA). This SIG is an "open" group in that NMRA membership is not required, although highly recommended. The NMRA is not responsible for the actions or publications of the RRISIG, or the content of this web site.
