The Shoreline Garden Railroad Club

A G scale Train Club for G-scale enthusiasts in Southern Delaware and the Maryland Eastern Shore

Mission:

The mission of the Shore Line Garden Railroad Club is the enjoyment of G-scale garden railroading. This is accomplished through the exchange of information, development of friendship, family involvement, and interactions with the community.

Meetings:

We hold monthly meetings. They generally take place at a member's home. Meetings consist of club business, speakers on model railroading, garden layouts, track laying, controls and other train related items along with members show and tell. The club's goal is to exchange ideas and have fun.

Membership:

Membership is open to any individual subscribing to the purpose of the club regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, religion or age.
For each paid membership one vote is allowed. Junior memberships (under 18) are available, but a SLGRC sponsor is required.

East Coast Gardens Train Project

In late February 2007 the club began a train layout project sponsored by East Coast Gardens in Millsboro Delaware. There are two goals, create an ovehead layout in their newly constructed greenhouse, and create an outdoor layout in their display garden. Presently, both loops are complete, and the outdoor loop has been constantly improved, and is becoming a very mature layout.
