Waupaca
"Here is a pinhole shot of the Waupaca depot which I kinda like. Depot is scratchbuilt of 1/8 x 1/8 inch basswood strips, "chipped" to look like cut stone with a pea-sized grinding stone in a Dremmel tool. Rain gutters are made from an old lithography plate curled around a clothes hanger. I used a tiny chip of the prototype stone I found on the platform to use as a color match for mixing the paint. A drop of silver added the tiny sparkles you see in the prototype in the sunlight. "
Dale Depot
The Dale depot is scratchbuilt of styrene from plans and photos that appeared in The Soo magazine. Mike Polsgrove made the colored signs in his computer and printed them out on glossy paper.
