Restored Southern Pacific 2-6-0 # 1744, lettered for new owner New Orleans & Gulf Coast, leads a Tarantula charter train for the joint BRHS / RITS convention in Fort Worth TX on September 21, 2000. The train is shown here approaching the Trinity River.
