On August 20, 2006, BNSF 9662 leads a westbound empty coal train through Alvord,
Texas on the BNSF Wichita Falls Subdivision. Alvord is located on the former
Ft. Worth & Denver main line between Fort Worth and Wichita Falls.
BNSF 6509, at left, was stationed at Alvord to help push loaded coal trains up the
steep grade between Alvord and Decatur.
