WAMX 7014 - Port of Houston |
---|
During my visit to Houston in May 2000, I discovered a black and yellow GP7 locomotive working near the Port
of Houston in the Galena Park / Greenspoint area, a mile or two west of where the Russian TEM7-A locomotives are
stored. It would be foolish of me to try to identify the owner of the locomotive, or to say whose yard it was switching...
I have been to Houston exactly four times in the past 10 years, and I know next to nothing about the area. But it certainly
fits the category of "obscure and unusual"!!

Here are three photographs I took of the locomotive as it switched cars in front of a large industrial complex.
