BNSF CTWC track warrant repeat process

Shown here is an example of the "Repeat process" that BNSF dispatchers use on the Legacy CTWC system. When dispatchers transmit a track warrant to the field via radio, they then select a "Repeat" option before the employee reads back the warrant for verification. Each portion of the track warrant, starting with the track warrant number, address and location, and continuing through each box marked with an X, must be verified. The computer presents a list of 3 possible responses, out of which the dispatcher must choose the correct one when the field employee (hopefully) correctly repeats it. The idea behind this is to force the dispatcher to pay very close attention to what the field employee is reading back, in order to make sure the field employee has the same information on his warrant that the dispatcher transmitted. When all items have been repeated correctly, the dispatcher will give an OK time and his initials. The track warrant is not in effect until this has occurred.
