UP GP40 # 5261, is an exRio Grande unit with a UP "patch
job" received after the UP bought the Rio Grande Railroad . |

This photo I took screamed to add the look, and
live motto of Operation Lifesaver. I was going for an out of the norm shot,
and that it was after UP B40-8 #5643 appeared in the view finder! |

After I took the above photo I noticed all three locos
were Union Pacific, this was a surprise considering this was a Norfolk
Southern train on the NS's CNO&TP (Kentucky Div.) at Georgetown, KY.
Lead B40-8, SD40-2T, SD40-2 snoot. |

Union Pacific C40-8 # 9156 showed up between two Norfolk
Southern Units on a southbound freight at NS's Danville, KY yard. |

Leading NS intermodal 215 was a CNW AC4400CW # 8681 at
Moreland, KY about 15 miles south of Danville, KY. The Chicago and
NortWestern was merged into the Union pacific railroad in the mid 90's. |
