As I reside in Arizona, I tend to most often frequent the railroads in my own "backyard." Being born and raised in southern and central Arizona, my primary interest was in the Southern Pacific. I also visited the Santa Fe when I got the chance. As I got older, I had the ability and desire to visit some of the other railroads in the state. Unfortunately, only in contemporary times have I documented these railroads by photographing them. The following information is not intended to be a historical or comprehensive treatment of Arizona railroads as I have not visited all of them and better information is represented elsewhere on the web. Instead, the offerings here are only my contribution to the growing body of railfan related knowledge available on the web. My primary focus here is to make available geographical and operational information which can assist those unfamiliar with the area who wish to experience Arizona's active railroads. If you do not find the information you are looking for here, feel free to email me with specifics and I will try to get you an answer.
