The buildings of Port Jervis, New York, provide a backdrop for 614's photo runby on October 26, 1996.
The 614 was leading the excursion train eastbound across Moodna Viaduct near Salisbury Mills, New York, on October 26, 1996. The smoke was for the benefit of Mark I Video, which had a helicopter circling the viaduct on this day.

On October 31, 1998, C&O 614 passed beneath a setting sun as it crossed Moodna Viaduct.

A few minutes later, the sun was dropping behind a mountain as 614 and its train proceeded eastward.
