At Cascade Wye, about a third pf the way to Silverton, the train reversed direction to head back to Durango.

Before returning to Durango, the train backed about a half-mile north of Cascade Wye and performed two photo runbys on a through-truss bridge.

Late afternoon brought the sun back as the train rose to the high line.

K-28 478 nosed around the spectacular rock ledge on the high line horseshoe curve during a double-runby.

About 87 passengers enjoyed the view of the high line above Rockwood during two photo runbys.
