Photo - Victoria Line Platforms at Victoria
Victoria, Victoria
Line where the numbers of passengers have risen to levels where the platforms are
too narrow at times. Crowds sometimes have to be controlled by restricting the
faregate entrances in the booking hall above. The platforms widths on the Victoria
Line were one of the victims of a cost cutting exercise which took place in the mid-1960s
when the line was being built.
