With a little luck, the New England Central heads south after sunrise in the winter months.  Sate Line siding is aptly named, being a very short distance south of the Massachusetts-Connecticut border.  In Central vermont days, State Line siding, the norht end of which is seen here, was often used as a storage track in Central Vermont days.  Two units today means a only light train has to climb State Line Grade today on its way to New London.
