A CSXT piggyback races east towards Fonda, New York and Eastern markets along the Mohawk River.  Just to the right of the train the orginal Erie Canal can be seen (It crossed over to the grassy field in the right foreground.)  Three centrueis of transportation technology (canals. railroads, and highways all share this same narrow pass.
