in the museum is a research library and archives. It contains over
600,000 items, including maps, photographs, diaries, journals and books
relating to Olmsted County and Rochester, as well as other areas. The
variety of genealogical materials includes census' and microfilms of
old newspapers.
Museum and library hours: Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm. Closed major
holidays. Adults: $2, Children 15 & under FREE, Members FREE.
