Ran as: | TRCX 7002 (2007-present). |
Notes: For 2006, South Florida Regional Transportation Agency has added a DMU-Trailer-DMU set, numbered TRCX 705, TRCX 7002 and TRCX 706. The 7002 is identical to TRCX 7001, which seats 182 and features two low-floor entrances on either side of the car. The middle half of the bottom level is low floor, with a short step up at either end to allow clearance for the trucks. (Wheels are a good thing to have on a rail car....) The low floor section seats 18, with additional seating area for ADA passengers. All of the seats can be folded up to provide storage for bicycles. This car was completed in early 2007 and delivered to Florida, where it appeared alongside TRCX 705 in a presentation in early March. |
