ECHO & PARK CITY
RR
The Echo & Park City RR was to come into being in 1879. UP had intended to incorporate the new line to buy out interest in the Summit County RR, but in the race to reach Park City and the valuable coal contracts, let the detail slip by. The incorperation finally took place in 1881, elimating the Summit County RR name.
The Echo & Park City RR operated as a subsidiary of the UP until 1900 when it was merged into the UP proper.
