Children's Lounge/Playarea on the bottom level of a Superliner II coach car, with Videos and Toys. Adult/Parental Supervision Required. A Coast Starlight Exclusive.
Slowly being phased in: Renovated Pacific Parlour Cars. Amtrak West has remodeled two of the First Class Lounge Cars, and plans to do the rest of the Pacific Parlour Car Fleet (5 of them total) soon. Pictures will be posted, once one of these cars show up in Seattle and your internet editor has a camera with him.
Important Notes: There is no smoking allowed on this train, but the train will make extended stops at key stations for smoking breaks. Also, make sure you listen to the station announcements carefully if you are seating in coach. Coach cars are dropped and picked up enroute (Oakland and Portland).

Columbia Crest MerlotColumbia Valley, Washington - Founded by Rodney Strong in 1959, this winery continues to produce Cabernets from the best regions of Somona, including Alexander Valley, Dry Creek, and the Russian River Valley. Supple, rich flavors bursting with currant and black cherry fruit with a hint of cedar and creamy oak are rounded by almost 2 years of aging in wood and glass.--$4.25 for a glass, and $17.00 for a bottle.
Simi Rose of Cabernet SauivignonSonoma County, California - Bright strawberry shade of pink wiht aromas of cherries and watermelons. This wine has crisp fruit flavors of tart cherries with a lively , clean finish.--$3.50 for a glass, and $14.00 for a bottle.
