        March 2001 was a rebuilding period on the WCNG.  After the inactivity of February, it was nice to have the time to run some trains.  Shay No6 was run under her own battery poer for the first time, and No3 yard was finally finished.
 


Tiny and Paul Shoot the breeze while No6 simmers quietly.

No1 is doing MOW service with a string of hoppers on the grade outta Cassville No1 with a string of tippers
"Buster" switches a set of hoppers converted for ballast service onto the mainline No1 waits in the hole while "Buster" finishes the switching chores.
Shay 6 pauses at the work site, ready for a trip back to refill the ballast hoppers No1 steams through Rosetree yard, where MOW equipment is stored
