November once again brought the Appalachian Model Railroad Society's 44th Railroad show, and once again the WCNG was present!  Not in Bachmann Track on astro turf this time however.  November 23rd saw the public debut of The Cedar Mountain Branch, a portable layout with modest structures and scenery to properly show off 7/8 scale rolling stock.   The layout ran beautifully over three days of the show.

Tiny and Ed wait for the train to arrive at Cedar Mountain Station
Shay No6 runs the mixed train up the branch
Buster rounds a turn while handling a MOW train on the branch.
Buster passes Cedar Mountain Tank with Flatcar 103 and Caboose/Toolcar 01
Looks like Tiny is contemplating some deer hunting off the combine's rear
Mother and son enjoy a view of Bob Carter forgetting to shut the door to the privvy.
No2 pauses to fill her tanks at the Cedar Mountain Tank.
No2 bringing another string of empties up to the mine.
Grandma explains to grandson the details of the "Little House Out Back"
Evan Cordel has brought No2 to a halt just in front of the station.
No2 runs through the glades
No2 pulling away from the Cedar Mountain tank.
Good view of No2's bunker as she rounds the curve
It was all too much for the JRVP, she had to sneak a nap between Cheetos and Zebra Cakes!
