It looks like the beginning of a productive year, so it might be interesting to log what goes on in the workshop. While I moved into this house and shop in Feb 2000, it's been almost unusable since then due to being filled with boxes, lumber, and etc.
| 1 jan | I normally do project work on some hobby or another on New Year's Day. Today, I'm focussing on the shop. I cleared the two biggest misc. boxes, sorting and putting stuff away. there is even a walking aisle most of the way into the shop. Sorted out shelf brackets. Started to mount jar rack over one workbench. The drill press needs an electrical outlet installed. Box is mounted thru wallboard, initial wire run started. |
| 6 jan | Came home with bar bender from BCSME . Will build bench, then use to bend archbar frames for ballast cars. After the frames are done, I'll take it back to the clube with its new bench. I may even design the bench to be folding. |
