This section was set up on January 26, 1999.
On January 14-16, 1999, the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad hosted a photo freight charter conducted by Carl Franz. On Thursday the 14th, 25 photographers rode the caboose for a trip up the line. On Friday and Saturday, about 80 passengers were carried in two coaches (which were cut off for some runbys). Consolidation 734 (ex-Lake Superior & Ishpeming 34) was the star of the show. It was taking on water at the Cumberland water plug on Friday evening. (1/15/99)
