General Electric Locomotives
Featured below are some General Electric Transportation Systems publicity photos and publicity spec sheets. GE is one of two U.S./North American locomotive builders. General Motors--Electro-Motive Division (GM-EMD) is the other. GE builds locos in Erie, Pa; GM in London, Ontario. GE and GM both also sell a portion of their locomotives overseas. There are other international builders of locomotives (but who?). China is the worlds largest producer of steam locomotives.

Here is an old GE photo. I think this came out of an employee news letter, but I do not know for sure. It, along with various other antique GETS propoganda, were given to me by a retired GE employee and family friend.

Here is something really special. A four page publicity brochure for the 2,500th GE Locomotive. The locomotive was built for the Frisco by GE.
