Notes: Rocky Mountaineer's Goldleaf service domes comprise the largest single fleet of Colorado Railcar domes presently in service. 9509 is among the fourth order in a fleet of 12 cars in service or soon to be on RMR's two day rail cruise offering between Vancouver, BC and Jasper, Banff and Calgary, AB. RMR has enlarged its fleet by an average of 1-2 cars per year since purchasing its first Ultradome in 1995.

The first 10 cars are unique among CRM domes in that they have smaller panes of glass in the dome level. Each pane is matched up to a row of seats, affording the best possible view for all riders. The cars also have the lowest capacity among the domes - 72 dome seats and 36 dining seats, which translates into a slightly roomier fit for each passenger.

9509 is a B car, with an observation platform and small lounge/gift shop supplanting a smaller than normal galley next to the dining area. It is also equipped with a small service bar on one end of the dome.
