The Piedmont and Eastern Carolina Railroad
Company:
Our N scale layout is approximately 180 square feet and
contains over 200 linear feet of rail line. Our
entire main room layout sits in front of a storefront
window and can be enjoyed by anyone passing on the
sidewalk outside! WOW!
Our railroad is a
free-lance railroad located in eastern North Carolina in
the 1950's and has over 40 turnouts. A double main
line allows for multiple trains to run east and west at
the same time. there are currently about a dozen
various industries that are serviced by the Piedmont &
Eastern Carolina railroad, with more planned in the
future.
Our glass-front building allows passersby
to view our model railroad from the sidewalk, even when
we're not home!
